Year Two

The Awards Return

In March 2026, the Latinx Game Awards brought its first in person ceremony to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, honoring developers from Ecuador, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Panama, Puerto Rico and the United States. It was the first Latino focused awards ceremony in GDC history.

In 2027 we return for our second year, during GDC week, with the same purpose: to celebrate the extraordinary talent and creativity of Latino/a/x/e and Latin American game developers, and to put that work in front of the global games industry.

GDC Scholarship Program

Getting Creators In The Room

Our scholarship program places GDC Festival Passes, valued at $1,200 and up, in the hands of Latino/a/x/e game creators, so they can be present where the industry meets, hires, and makes deals. Scholarship tickets were one of the most meaningful parts of 2026. The size of the 2027 cohort will be announced once sponsorship is confirmed.
